Fermata: A pocket in time
A photomedia project that explores the effects of sound and visuals on our emotions and cognition.

Fermata [noun] : A pause of unspecified length held up to the discretion of the performer.
This short film is intended to encourage viewers to take a step back from their stressors and instead focus only on the sound and visuals, giving them a chance to breathe and reorient themselves.
The soundtrack is provided as a separate element to serve as an accessible reminder to trigger the same emotional response as the short film.

MINI PUBLICATION & PHOTOCARDS | DA CAPO
Da capo [adverb] : Repeat from the beginning.
Intended to provide cognitive support through visuals and words in the form of a comprehensible mini publication. It aims to improve the audience's understanding of how cognitive behavioural therapy can help with changing mindsets around cognitive distortions. The photocard set was designed as a convenient, portable way to remind oneself of the contents in the mini publication.
