This identity design is a personal project for my American Cancer Society Relay for Life team. My team is comprised of many people who are creative professionals, which is where the team gets it's name. This made it very important that we have a logo that reflected that creativity.
I created my own font for the word "creative" in this logo, using Photoshop, so that the letters looked like folded paper, and give the image a more tactile quality. I believed that there should be a balance in the text, and that putting all of the text in this style would have been over the top, and decided to balance the more decorative text with a simple, stable, serif font.
This logo will be used on a tshirt, as shown above, as well as all of our fundraising materials.
