Missouri's Bicentennial
Branding And Posters
It’s 2021 and Missouri is celebrating 200 years of statehood.
To honor this event, a brand and a trio of posters was in order.
The brand pays homage to explorers such as Lewis and Clark who navigated the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. Outlines of the rivers in the “M” and the compass in the “O”, tells viewers that the state of Missouri is rooted in exploration. Conversely, the posters show the physical beauty and expanse of this great state. The colors of Haha Tonka Cove are a testament to the natural wonderment, while the views of St. Louis and Kansas City show that we are also a modernized state, building towards an ever growing future.
The posters consist of photographs that have been screen-printed and textured to give a weathered look, but at the same time, the color and detail are kept preserved.
The brand fits a whole array of clothing and everyday items customers can purchase and use to their liking. A variety of colors are available to suit each person’s preference.
