The recipes are grouped by region and can be swiped through left or right, displaying four recipes at a time. Vibrant photographs showcase each blend’s ingredients. Informative icons and a description communicate possible uses for the blend.
The user can search by a filter, in this case 'chicken'. This is displaying all recipes that will compliment chicken, with a large icon to inform the user where they are. Tapping 'back' returns to the main navigation. The filter system ensures the user will always get a result to their search query.
The recipe pages are designed with the kitchen user in mind. They are concise and easy to follow while preparing the recipe. Continuity of language and terminology throughout enhances the user experience. Additional information about each individual spice can be swiped through below the recipe. This creates a more immersive learning experience for the user to follow up outside of the kitchen. The photographs assist the user with identifying a new spice while shopping for ingredients. Tapping the tips icon will display some helpful hints, while tapping the video icon displays a custom video to help with a specific task.
The icons communicate which foods a blend will complement, how hot it is and which region of the world it's from, helping the user to choose a recipe. Additional icons display tips and videos.
