The series is dedicated to environmental problems of forest areas. I have not depicted people in my works, although they are directly related to the phenomena that find a place in my paintings. In this way, I show the indifference to the problems of forests and plantations, the abandonment of those places where crimes against nature have been committed and continue to be committed.
In my works, I wanted to show the consequences of human negligence to the environment, which leads to a reduction in forest area, ecosystem pollution, the death of fish in water bodies, an increase in pests, and, as a result of all this, the greenhouse effect.
I thought about drawing animals in my compositions, but I quickly realized that the forest in my paintings wasn't of interest to them. Not a single living being can survive in a burnt-out forest, no grass suitable for animals' food can grow in the meadows among hogweed, and plastic garbage is a huge danger for all
living beings.
It is difficult to assess the damage that is now being done to forests. But one thing is clear, every year there are fewer and fewer trees. The forest is undoubtedly in danger, and I hope that people of the 21st century begin to think more often that they are responsible for preserving our very fragile nature while being in a forest.
