DESIGN CONCEPT
In order to fix the minimalist of the cafe which should be bright, light and using basic color tone, we used bamboo to be the main material. The color of Bamboo can show light and bright.
Also, as we know the café is currently using bamboo items in their shop. Hence we retained the minimalist concept when selecting the cover fabric. The bamboo is used as the lower layer, the upper layer is filled with coffee beans, and the upper layer is made of cotton. After the coffee beans are used up, they can respond to environmental protection and be reused. And became the final concept of our design.

為了固定咖啡館的極簡主義,而使用淺色為基本色調。我們以竹子為主要材料,因為竹子的顏色可以顯示像店舖光線明亮。
另外,我們知道,café正在使用一些竹製物品。所以,我們亦以極簡主義的概念來選擇灰色作外罩面料。
利用竹子作為下層,裝滿著咖啡豆,上層以灰色的棉質布料,咖啡豆用完以後,並能夠響應環保,重複使用。
該設計成為我們的最終設計。
ABOUT THE STORE
A minimalistic boutique café, founded in Sham Shui Po many years ago. With the family garments business, Michael, the shop owner, has been part of the Sham Shui Po community from a very young age. Sham Shui Po has always given him a sense of belonging and affinity where the vibe and the serenity of this district reminds him of his time working in Sausalito.

The Logo of Café Sausalito is a “S” to depict a simple and sleek feeling. Also, it acts as a symbol of “from S to S”, making Sham Shui Po as a starting point, spreading “Hong Kong Style café” back to Sausalito.

Café Sausalito於深水埗紮根多年,是一間風格簡約的精品咖啡店。
創辦人Michael家族經營製衣生意,自小已在深水埗出入,對這個地方有一份特別的情感與歸屬感。求學時的Michael曾在Sausalito的café打工,因感覺其工作氣氛與深水埗的寧靜小社區相近,故決定在這裡開業。
Café Sausalito的logo為"S"字,希望讓品牌簡單易記。同時希望以深水埗(SSP)做起點,from “S” to “S”,將擁有香港特色的Café Sausalito帶到Sausalito去。
