EMS Synthi KB-1
The EMS Synthi KB-1 is quite a special synthesizer, because only one prototype was built.
It's a beautiful piece of gear and I would love to own it. The fact that only one machine exists, also means it's pretty hard to find images on the synth. A lot of time went into researching the synth and finding out what the labels on the synthesizer actually read. Now you don't even clearly see it on the key visual, but nevertheless I had a lot of fun modeling this machine and it turned out pretty accurate.
The 3d model was made in cinema4d and rendered with Arnold (C4DtoA)
Note. for artistic reasons I decided to bend the synth. The actual KB-1 isn't shaped like this.
