A compact robotic lawn mower for Friendly Robotics
Robomow RC is a compact robotic lawn mower made by Friendly Robotics, a manufacturer of autonomous home devices, currently expanding it's market to Europe and the US. The RC is a compact model, to complement the larger RS and RM models.
The brief was to envision the company's future design direction, while still maintaining a "familial resemblance" to the previous models. Another important consideration was developing a visual language that signals being a compact, junior member of the product line, yet maintains a high quality aesthetic appeal. After market research, an automotive inspired visual approach was chosen, to appeal to a younger audience.
