The site is a sports park located a few meters from the sea, in the Argentine city of Santa Clara.
The park houses several functions, among which are sports centers, camping and accommodation for tourism.
The functions are carried out on a 16-hectare plot, concentrated in a single main building, materialized as a large roof and esplanade under which the uses and services for the different activities of the park are developed.
Architecture is built through materials and technology that are noble and possible both for the environment and for its culture. Architectural designers choosing a few resources of high durability, low maintenance and high resistance to the passage of time.

According to its characteristics, the challenge we faced in the design and development of its signage program encompassed three fundamental pillars:
I Scale in relation to the park and its uses.
I High resistance to weathering due to its geographical location.
I Materials that are conceptually linked to the architectural proposal.

The program includes identifying and guiding signs of three levels of scale that are resolved in three different types of support:
. Totems for large open spaces
. Self-adhesive vinyls on glazed panels for large closed spaces
. Third level identification signs for doors of the main building.
Design system for totems. Digital prototypes.
The use of screws and metal fittings was not possible due to the climatic corrosion of the place. As a replacement, we evaluated three options for the adhesion of the Alucobond plate to the concrete support using high-strength adhesives.

Materialization of totems
A unique precast concrete support was chosen to which they have been adhered with aluminum composite plates (alucobond) adhered through materials and high alkaline resistance silicones due to the proximity to the sea.
The use of concrete provides the conceptual link with architecture.
The resolution through the same base support systematically connects the totems from their function and simplicity, while the different signaling functions were resolved in a system of interchangeable plate supports, and their visual systematization through the use of chromatic and typographic.
Simple module identification totem.
Restrictive and normative information totem.
Double module identification totem that includes normative information.
The spaces marked as "Green Point" (green point), are spaces strategically distributed within the park. These points are designed to signal the presence of waste baskets separated by category for recycling.
The spaces for uses and services that are under the esplanade, in the central building, are identified with macro typography and texts with frozen vinyl on their immense glazed partitions. In this way, they are viewed from a distance and in close proximity, and respect the transparency and openness of the park's architectural proposal.
On the site's water tank, we designed and produced the U.T.E.D.Y.C shield with the logotype of the park. Made of galvanized sheet painted with blue acrylic front, letters applied in high resistance cut vinyl and internal led lighting.
Institutional monolith: a foundation stone for the park.It shows the distances and directions to each of the branches of the organization throughout the country.
Thanks for watching!
