Web Design + Instagram story
I wanted the Instagram story and the web design to look similar and since it's supposed to be kid-friendly I thought I'd make the website really fun to look at with the little crabs picking up the trash. Coconut crabs are scavengers most often eating whatever organic matter they can get their claws on so I threw some banana peels in as per suggestion as well as some not crab friendly trash!! Don't throw plastic on the ground these babies can't digest plastic!!
Illustration + T Shirt Design
I wanted the T-shirt design to be the highlight of the episode, when they introduced the coconut crab they used this as a reference for it's size so I thought this would give a little more pop to the T-shirt than the little crabs.
But
It just looked so lame on just a T-shirt!! SO I decided to spice it up a lil bit...
LOOK AT THAT! It's 10x better look at all the love for that big guy! He deserves it :)
