MIAMI HEAT: Digital / Social Media

The Miami HEAT sends out Live!Wire, our weekly newsletter, that puts a fun voice on the news and events of the organization. This year we're adding a graphic element to our typography and I'm bringing my most irreverent tone to the table.
The Miami HEAT's partnership with Ticketmaster required us to create a campaign to encourage our fans to use Ticketmaster to purchase primary and secondary tickets for HEAT games (instead of 3rd Party sites like StubHub).
I came up with the campaign tagline: GUARANTEED TO GET YOU IN THE GAME
 
The line is used digitally on the Web.
Another Instagram push for retail -- the NBA Championship Trophy (the Larry O'Brien trophy) was available for fans to view in the Miami HEAT Store at the AmericanAirlines Arena... and Larry just loves people who look at him.
A line I wrote for an internal project earlier this season became the title of the 2012-2013 Miami HEAT Championship Season Documentary, produced by HEATv. "Together We Rise" then became the Opening Night theme and hashtag for our sponsor Samsung. 
Part of my job is supporting the retail efforts of the HEAT. This was an Instagram post calling out kids replica apparel, available from the Miami HEAT, featuring an original tagline, Young Is Fresh.
Once Training Camp got underway, heat.com needed a splash page that got our fans excited about the upcoming season. This is one example, hyping Opening Night, October 29th.
