Wine Etiquette: Sedlecká Vína
"Above all, our aim is for the wines to be in harmony with the local terroir and for their poetics to stand out." I thought of this sentence of the winery's owners when creating the label.
I imagined a person sitting by the Nesyt pond, letting time pass at sunset. Each of us can be that person. On the label, I wanted to abstractly depict the peace and beauty of the wine region extending over the Nesyt pond. This landscape surrounds the bottle and so it can create stories that take place in Moravia. A section in the form of the Pálava Hills ends and protects this area. The red elements show not only strength, but also a feeling of warmth and home. In the design, I wanted to focus on the details, either in the form of hatching or small houses.
In short, that every little thing on the label makes sense. I wanted to project a piece of beautiful, calm and poetic Moravia on the bottle.
