This competition was to create a tour poster for Kate Nash.

They were looking for ' a bold, edgy and vintage -tinged design inspired by Kate's latest album 'Girl Talk.'

 

I worked on the vintage style with my design and I wanted to stay away from using the images of the artists I believe that has been done way too much.

Working with 'Girl Talk' as my inspiration I started to think what it meant. Girl talk it is always secrets been shared between the girls, no men allowed and it started me thinking about the do not entre signs, the secret clubs. 

So I came up with this design trying to stay simple with the amount of design but giving the clear message that’s its all about 'Girl Talk' behind the design.
