The Goblin Rogue from my Eberron Campaign.

The last thing he remembers, is waking up in the middle of the battlefield in Eston, Cyre. He woke up and started running without knowing where to go. In less than 3 days he arrived in Thronehold, the place where every representative (and spies) from the Five Nations gathered from time to time. There, he was captured by agents of the Dark Lanterns, forcing him to spill the beans, where he came form, his intentions and so on.

He was tortured for days. He didn't say anything because he didn't know who he was. The Dark Lanterns were so impressed they hired him to become one of them.

After 4 years of "spy training", working under the codename "Jaakuul" he started various assignments for the Breland Nation, including the one in which he is working right now, bringing down the Boromar's black market in Sharn by infiltrating them (most of the PCs are tied with the Boromar Clan, that's where the fun begins).

One month prior the first adventure with the party, Jaakuul and four more heisters attempted to rob two precious stones from the Dezina Museum of Antiquities. The King's Citadel arrived before they could escape with both stones, thus only making half of the money they were being assigned for. However, Jaakuul managed to steal a ring he saw in the Xendrik's section, unkownigly to him, the spirit and soul of an ancient hag recides in that ring.

With the money from the heist, Jaakuul bought a pair of magic gloves of thievery in the black market.

As costume, after one month has passed within the job, they reunite in the Golden Dragon Inn to see if they have some loose ends. One of them didn't arrived, and they met two other guys that night. That's were the story begins.
