The Man Who Feeds The Birds
I have always wanted to visit Notre Dame in Paris. When I finally got the chance to, I was amazed by the crowds of people filling the square, but there was one man in particular who caught my attention. In between myself and a kind gentleman who translated for me, I asked if I could take a couple of photos of this man, and ended up spending so much time outside that afternoon, that I ended up being too late for the rooftop tour.

Not that I am complaining.

His name is Pierre, but he prefers Pierrot because "it is more friendly".
Pierrot is the man who feeds the birds. He has been doing so every day for the last 17 years.
He used to be a pilot, but now he collects bread, sits down of an afternoon and feeds the birds.

I really hope I can return to Paris one day.
