«Cego te Vejo I» and «Cego te Vejo II» (Blind I See You) were done mainly as a search for a more authentic way to capture an image, particularly a portrait. A system that allows to assimilate and transmit visual information without any mental barrier from the real to the paper, so that everything that is recorded on the paper is reality, contaminated only by the blindness of the hand and not the blindness of the eye. These twelve blind portraits were born out of this desire, and thus are crystallized as the memory of my perception of twelve people, twelve beings engraved in the world as I see them: blind.
