To open its new Innovation Hubs and launch its 5G network, Vodafone needed to organise a series of stellar events that demonstrated to SMBs just why 5G would be such a gamechanger.

On the back of an event, named ‘Go Beyond’ in Manchester’s Media City, Vodafone immediately planned a second hub launch in Coventry. The twist being that this time, there was just one month to prepare.
We pulled out all the stops to organise everything from the initial concepts and opportunities for branding at the venue to securing top talent.

On the big day, Vodafone attracted 120 attendees to the Ricoh Arena, all of whom enjoyed innovative VR experiences including the infamous ‘haptic rugby tackle’, where a ‘smart’ tackle bag was tackled miles away, and the impact data transmitted in real-time to a haptic suit at the event – battering the poor soul inside. We organised branding through the visitors' journey, engaging keynotes, and most importantly demonstrated to businesses how 5G will transform their future together with a panel discussion on sporting innovation with rugby superstar James Haskell.
During the event I organised the build of the staging, digital screens throughout the stadium, flow of visitors, AV, and PR photos and securing media coverage that ensured the event’s impact rippled through the industry.

The events were real successes, inspiring hundreds of businesses to fully embrace the benefits of 5G – and placing Vodafone as the partner that will make change possible. Together, we were able to overcome time and logistical challenges to put on a truly memorable event. One that demonstrated the possibilities of 5G, and made SMBs genuinely excited for the future.
