'Gang' means in Hungarian a typical, round passage with balconies - it looks a bit like gangways on airports. These 'ganged-houses' where the scenes of the everyday life in the old times. They are several kinds and styles of these houses, some are ruiny while others are nice and charming. My illustration is a mixtures of Budapest gang.
Every slice is taken from my friend's and other people frontdoors and corridors.

My friend's door with his company's logo typograhy "PP" on the door with the smoking area.
On the right side: there are a lot of water wells in these gangs - I think they are not working anymore -
in the old times they were no piped water in the flats.
Every house has a little dog (or two or three).
And every house has a typical bench for gossips and daily happenings
.

On the top there is my little sister's front door and on the left side there is our smoking corner.
At below the "must have" aunty and the house manager.

This woman lives with her cat in the front of our 'gang'

On the top our little guest flat and below a Hungarian-Secession style beautiful house in the downtown

A friend of us Lajos is smoking his cigarette

This is our 'gang' with flowers, lamp and with the little terrace - I adore it.
At last the elevator wicket - without the elevator because some Russian soldier needed it badly
after the 2nd World War.
