"DESIGN IS NOT ART": & OTHER CONTRADICTIONS
A reflection on the works of Paula Scher.
A fictional book about designer Paula Scher featuring some of hers and Pentagram's work, and exploring why their designs should in fact be considered art. The concept was to bring together her most iconic and recognizable work. The use of black and off-white integrates all the images and creates a sense of balance and equilibrium. A bright-orangey red is used to make some details and accents pop, and compliments all the greyscale used in the cover.
