The natural sciences, the branch of knowledge that tries to understand the functioning of the cosmos and the world we inhabit. It manifests itself in such a way that it seduces us to observe its singularities, whether by looking at the earth or towards the sky, it has revealed us with its enigmas since immemorial time. Today, we base our truths thanks to the scientific method, through observation, questioning, prediction and verification.

This is how we approach the MACNA identity based on our most primal human nature, our curiosity, our need to explore and observe the world around us. Through the how? and why? Mainly, we undertake a journey towards discovery, and the opening of new questions. I propose to magnify this quality that imbues us from infancy. Without a doubt, a skill that needs to be perpetuated.

The purpose is to positively influence youth to create a new generation of scientists. It is necessary to be able to reach that emotional fiber within each irremediable curiosity, which eagerly awaits the arrival of that day when it is carefully observing the immensity of the dinosaurs, the exorbitant variety of beetles, or the exoticism that inhabits the depth of the sea. Is responsible for lighting that flame of fascination for the cosmos, for nature, for those enigmas that still exist. Making the scientific mission visible and making it close is fundamental for the future of all Argentines, and MACNA is precisely their home. The perpetuity of our cultural value as a society and as a country depends on the future experts that we are able to engender today, those who dedicate their lives to science, in any of its branches.

Las ciencias naturales, la rama del conocimiento que intenta comprender el funcionamiento del cosmos y el mundo en el que habitamos. Se manifiesta de tal forma que nos seduce a observar sus singularidades, ya sea observando hacia la tierra o hacia el cielo, nos ha desvelado con sus enigmas desde tiempos inmemoriales. Hoy en día, fundamentamos nuestras verdades gracias al método científico, mediante la observación, cuestionamiento, predicción y verificación.

Es así como abordamos la identidad del MACNA a partir de nuestra más primigenia naturaleza humana, nuestra curiosidad, nuestra necesidad de explorar y observar el mundo que nos rodea. Mediante los ¿como? y ¿por qué? principalmente, emprendemos una travesía hacia el descubrimiento, y la apertura de nuevos cuestionamientos. Proponemos magnificar esta cualidad que nos embebe desde infantes. Sin duda, una destreza que requiere ser perpetuada.

Nuestro propósito, es lograr influenciar positivamente a la juventud para crear una nueva generación de científicos. Es necesario poder llegar a esa fibra emocional dentro de cada curioso/a irremediable, que espera ansiosamente la llegada de aquel día en que se encuentra observando detenidamente la inmensidad de los dinosaurios, la exorbitante variedad de escarabajos, o el exotismo que habita en la profundidad del mar. Somos responsables de encender aquella llama de la fascinación por el cosmos, por la naturaleza, por aquellos enigmas que aún subsisten. Visibilizar la misión científica y hacerla cercana es fundamental para el futuro de todos los argentinos, y el MACNA es justamente su hogar. La perpetuidad de nuestro valor cultural como sociedad y como país, depende de los futuros expertos que hoy logremos engendrar, aquellos que dediquen su vida a la ciencia, en cualquiera de sus ramas.

The imagotype, comes from the circular structure of the viewers, both microscopes and telescopes, in such a way that the inner circumference symbolically represents the entry of light that allows the observation of natural phenomena, in other words, the revelation of the truth. Likewise, its morphological configuration synthetically resembles the human eye, as a sensitive and somatic component essential for scientific research.

On the other hand, the logo, in Roboto Mono typeface, aims to reflect the dualistic nature of the museum, that is, the harmonization between the sensitive universe and the exact language that lives behind it.

El imagotipo, en principio deviene de la estructura circular de los visores, tanto de los microscopios como los telescopios, de tal forma que la circunferencia interior representa simbólicamente el ingreso de luz que permite la observación de los fenómenos naturales, en otras palabras, la revelación de la verdad. Asimismo, su configuración morfológica se asemeja sintéticamente al ojo humano, como componente sensitivo y somático indispensable para la investigación científica.

Por otra parte, el logotipo, en tipografía Roboto Mono, pretende reflejar la naturaleza dualista del museo, es decir, la armonización entre el universo sensitivo y el lenguaje exacto que habita detrás de él.
