About 40 years ago, a small scale bakery-cum-japanese savory pancake (Okonomiyaki) shop was set up in a small rural town in Chito, Aichi Prefecture in Japan. Matsumi, the name of the owner's first born was decided as the name for this bakery.
Two generations later, on 6 Nov 2013, Matsumiya Japanese Artisan Bakery opened its door for business in Taman Molek, Johor Bahru and began to introduce Japanese Bread to Malaysian
'Happiness Starts Here'
We create a scene of kid craving for a bread through the window of Matsumiya for its logo.
