Wayla
A collaboration with Judd Morgenstern, founder of Wayla. We set out to build an artful system for Wayla to generate posters around events and gatherings as well as communicate what they did. This was really early in their process and lent itself to be a sort of experimental brand playgournd to try out different voices and tones for the future of the brand. After doing a few directions that were a bit over-designed and fashion-skewing we finally landed in a good place with a system that could live on. Huge thanks to Brendan Shanley's Lost In Concert for the hook-up on the awesome photos to lay into the massive typography. Was a blast to build trust and experiment with different approaches for Wayla. Looking forward to continued pieces down the road.
