This is the logo I created for Khaos Squadron, a PC based elite E-Sports team for the video game Star Wars: Squadrons. The owner of the team wanted a logo created, so I volunteered to design one.
Concept Design and Colors
After asking the owner some typical logo questions I ask to get the feel and thought behind the logo they have in mind, I then start my iterative process. While I make a couple designs, I then show them to the owner to receive feedback. Upon their suggestions, I make corrections. For this specific project towards the end, it was a lot of back and forth, making little tweaks, small changes to make it just right.
Before finishing off each iteration, I would export the Adobe Illustrator file and open in Adobe InDesign. The Effects Menu has a slew of special effects to add to any art or logo to make it pop. Each time I use this menu, I try different things to find various results. Sometimes in using these effects it spotlights certain areas of the logo to improve in the next iteration.

Upon solidifying a Logo, I had a few ideas for a banner. I went through several font choices of simple black text with the "Khaos Squadron" to show the styles of the font. When the owner had picked the font they wanted, I proceeded to create a couple of variations of a banner with the chosen font.
