Restaurant: Mariko's: Bar / Japanese Restaurant

 

Design Brief: Refurbishing of Mariko's Menu

 

Techniques: Ink transfer on wooden plank, printing on tracing paper and paper clip binding.

 

Mariko's restaurant menus changes constantly due to new dishes and upcoming promotions, and to minimise the printing and paper cost, and idea of creating this menu with form and functionality. Using paper clip as binding will be easier to change the menu content, at the same time using wooden plank as clipboard to bring out the essences of Japanese traditional wood carving art style.
