to begin this piece i went back to the theme and chose "breakfast at tiffany's" for the first piece of the 60's decade. to begin i added a solid background of black and went on dafont.com to find a cool font to use for the stars name. i then added the title and her name in shades of pink to the board. 

next i found an old picture from the movie and put a grainy filter on it as a place holder to see if the words placing was good for the poster. then i added the new york skyline to the bottom of the page since it is based in new york.

then i replaced the image with a sole picture of audrey hepburn to the center of the poster. i used the pen tool on paths to cut out parts of her face and placed diamonds behind it to tie to the tiffany's theme. i also added a blue boarder around the sides.

next i placed tiffany boxes to behind the cut outs to give a 3D effect to her face. i also used the color saturation to make her lips pink to stand out. last i changed the boarder color.

lastly i put the grain filter just on her and not the cut out pieces to give it more of a old timey look. i also changed the boarder again because i felt blue better mixed with the aspect of the project. lastly i created my own diamond brushes with images from the internet and used the brush to place them in a path behind her to finish the touches on the movie theme.
