Project 2 | Bottled Water in America
This project consisted in creating an infographic for Mother Jones which is an independent news source that focuses on a variety of potentially controversial topics such as politics, criminal and racial justice, education, climate change, and food/agriculture. All of these topics are transmitted to their more than 10 million viewers/listeners/readers via printed magazines, social media, their website, videos, podcasts, and emails.

The goal was to create an infographic about consuming less water bottles while still promoting water consumption. This infographic must have contained as much important/relevant information as possible to be able to convince America about the importance of these two connected subjects of bottles and water consumption.

The audience are Americans with more liberal beliefs or interested in topics about climate change, living more sustainable lives, or different politics points of view.
If a person is viewing this infographic then they would most likely be interested in living more sustainable lives by reducing their water bottle consumption and looking for alternatives on Mother Jones. Mother Jones would introduce two main subject that would be reduction of water bottle consumption and increase of water consumption at the same time which would promote sustainability of the world and our own human bodies.

Creating an infographic was challenging because of the amount of data that had to be organized and displayed in the most simple way. I would say that hierarchy, alignment and color were the three most important design principles used in this project.

I am happy and proud of my final result and I hope you enjoyed it too.
