Delmajallá made us discover the true meaning of happiness. And that is of course: fluffy, steamy, freshly baked cinnamon rolls!

Cinnamons are to happiness, what happiness is to inspiration. And inspiration is the bread and butter of any great invention…including cinnamons! A coincidence? We don’t think so. We dove into Delmajallà with a full creative license from our clients. Talk about sugary dreams! If you’re are a designer reading this, you relate to our joy.

But with great power, comes great responsibility—said some wise old man…so what does a team of sleep-deprived creatives do when presented with no rules, no limitations, and a loose brief? We go wet & wild!

Or perhaps, just wild. Let’s keep it PG.

The naming process was inspired by a colloquial Venezuelan expression used to describe something dreamy…something delicious…something ‘Del más allá’! Us Venezuelans, however, speak the Windows Vista of Spanish. We cut syllables, drop vocals, and run over words. Just like a sloppy operative system would. That’s how Delmajallà was born—from plain & simple grammatical incorrectness.

*Sigh* This cinnamon tastes <<Delmajallà>>! That is, <<too good to be true>>!

Introducing: Delmajalla

For the rest of the brand's identity we mixed the realm of the unknown with innocent and childlike features. Featuring lots of rounded edges, chunky typography, and bold colors that would make anyone—or anything—want to take a bite off the screen. We knew from early on Plasma's irresistible (almost huggable) personality would speak by itself. And so it did! The adventurous ghost mashed the dough of a brand that’s relatable, approachable, and holds true to our core values: ‘Human First’.
