Infinity is a Head-mounted display (HMD) unit that primarily projects GPS symbology to the motorcyclist’s field of view. The objective of Infinity is to assist the motorcyclists in navigating whilst focus of the rider remains on the road. Infinity is specifically designed to be wireless device, so that no cables interfere with the maneuverability of the rider whilst riding.

 

The wireless connection of the device is done through pairing Infinity to a GPS or Smartphone with GPS capabilities. The navigation information from the GPS gets relayed to Infinity, whereby it processes and projects symbology onto the visor (combiner) of the motorcyclists helmet. Through manipulation of folded optics, the imagery gets projected into infinity. This as a result allows the motorcyclist to focus on road while still gaining crucial navigation information without having to re-accommodate their vision.
