Lady Gaga x Adobe Contest: Rain On Me
Contest Description: Using your favorite Adobe apps, create a poster inspired by the rich, visual world of “Rain On Me.” The winning poster will receive $10,000 and a signed copy of their work from Lady Gaga.
Ideation and Process
Below is the mood board I created as a guideline for the aesthetic I wanted to utilize in this poster. The images of Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are pulled from the music video for the single. Based on these color tones and the materials that were supplied to contestants, I utilized the color palettes and created a simple elemental illustration in Procreate to provide the clouds, body of water, and lightning.

I chose to utilize these elements in combination with the environment I generated in procreate. After editing the warmer magenta tones to a cooler shade of pink, I added a bit of noise, motion blur, and outer glow to create the end result!
