Ten Michigan Wolverines were selected into the 2020 National Football League (NFL) Draft, which tied for the second most in school history. The 2021 NFL Draft could see just as many or more Michigan players selected, according to Pro Football Network. The website recently listed four standout prospects in addition to several potential mid-round selections. The most highly regarded player of the group is 6-foot-5, 319-pound right tackle Jalen Mayfield.

A potential top-15 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the redshirt sophomore displays above average athleticism for his size and is a skilled pass protector. He showcased these abilities last season and was particularly effective in mitigating the impact of Ohio State's Chase Young, who finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting.

Other Michigan players who could be selected early in the draft include pass-rushers Aidan Hutchinson and Kwity Paye and wide receiver Nico Collins. Others, like tight end Nick Eubanks and cornerback Ambry Thomas, could be selected later in the draft.
