Bipolar Disorder is a condition in which people go back and forth between periods of a very good or irritable mood and depression. The “mood swings” between mania and depression can be very quick. Inspired by this disorder we present you a table that changes its appearance through a simple visual trick, changing the perception of the object just by looking at it from different points of view.
La Bipolar is a table designed to play with our perception through a simple structural pattern that creates spaces of light and shadow projections through the object. A simple and elegant geometry designed to withstand the elements, created from structural patterns allowing the object lightness without giving up the resistance of the frame.
Visually outstanding, La bipolar table is an excellent object for outdoor use, the shadows created through geometry create dynamic spaces and this added to its simplicity allows it to fit into any space designed with elegance in mind. This table creates a dialogue with the viewer's through perception establishing a change in appearance, only visible in movement, it tricks the eye by the patterned surface in the top, creating a surface to positioning objects without being a solid surface. The basic geometry of the table allows it to be stackable for storage, this makes it an object sustainable in terms of transportation.
