It's been quite a while since I've written here - probably too long. The past couple of weeks we've spent a lot of time improving the performance of Action Method Online. We are proud to say the changes are up and running smoothly. We've done things from the simply obvious (loading screen between tabs) to the outrageously maticulous (optimizing CSS). Due to these changes everything runs faster including loading time, drag-and-dropping, resizing, switching tabs, and searching. You may have also noticed we got rid of that "2.5 Seconds Remain" countdown after the site finished loading. That always was irritating to us and the optimizations let us finally remove it.

Parris Photographs Behance Team
The Behance Team was recently photographed on a NYC rooftop by Parris Whittingham. We feel Parris captured the essence quite well.

What's New In ActionMethod Online
You said it, and we heard it. Based on the great feedback shared by early adopters of Action Method Online (AMO), we have added a number of enhancements to the application. The additions include the ability for you (or anyone else) to email an action step to your AMO InBox (via your own @action.me email address) as well as increased messaging features, multiple delegation, importing contacts, and more... See all of the latest enhancements on our What's New page.

Nvidia State of the Art Contest
Yes, that's right! We're teaming up with Nvidia to give members of the Behance Network a chance to flex their creative muscles for some cool prizes. If you've seen the "Speak Visual" campaign all over the streets in NYC, you'll know what we're talking about. Here's your chance to speak in whatever creative outlet that you choose.
Some Respect In The Press
We were pleased to come across a thoughtful review of ActionMethod Online on CreativeFluff. We also stumbled upon a nice write up by Matt Moore after the writers of BehanceMagazine covered some of Matt's latest work. It is nice to see some of the early adopters of the Behance Network getting well-deserved recognition, and it is rewarding for us to read their reviews.
Gotta Love Twitter's "Search" Tool
It is interesting to "search" on Twitter for a particular product name or brand. Here's a quick example of this morning's search on Twitter for "Action Method" (below). In the new age, teams should use twitter searches to "get the pulse" of what people are saying about their products - and to learn from these searches...
99%: A Behance Conference
It's not about ideas.
It's about making ideas happen.
How many unwritten novels, half-finished projects, and brilliant ideas have never seen the light of day? What separates creative people who make their ideas happen from the constant dreamers?
Insights and stories from a diverse set of speakers, the conference will assess productivity in a creative context, offering a sneak peek behind the process, exposing how ideas come to life.

Idea: Broadcast Your Product with a Contest!
One of the early members of the Behance Network, Joey Roth, is a brilliant industrial designer that developed the much talked-about "Sorapot." The Sorapot was an early project in the Behance Network that yielded thousands of views and was the catalyst of much press and fanfare. Our team has since had the opportunity to sample tea from Joey's pot - and we became real fans of his work as well.
For this reason, Scott Belsky and Behance Chief of Design Matias Corea agreed to serve as judges for a very creative and engaging (and fun) outreach contest that Joey has launched for Sorapot. Serving along with friends at Moco Loco, NotCot, Swiss Miss, and DesignNotes, we will be judging the most creative "Sorapot inspirations" - the winner of which will receive their very own Sorapot.
Congrats to Joey for his hard work, and good luck to all those that enter the contest! You can enter the contest here.
T-Shirt Design Within Behance
It turns out that the Behance Network is filled with some impressive t-shirt designs - but we never realized it until Color Overload pointed it out to us. The Color Overload team took some time to identify 20 especially beautiful designs - check out their full post "20 Beautiful T-Shirt Designs From Behance."
