Once again, I'm exploring the possibilites of my Nikon D5500 paired with Adobe Lightroom. Last night, and on the previous night, I was able to capture some images of the rare blue moon over my town. One of the cool things I like about Lightroom is it's powerful noise reduction features. Though I took some of these images with low iso, the higher iso images cleaned up nicely via the noise reduction panel. Shooting the moon is like shooting the sun. You have to decide on what you want to preserve, the details of the moon, or the environment it's light creates as it hits the earth. I decided to offer a variety of "choices" for all to enjoy.
