CANDO MARCHAS (when you leave) 2017-WIP
The series is a work in progress, an exploration of both of my homes and the feelings of leaving in the form of black and white intimate documentary photographs.
I’ve been coming and going for 15 years now, from Slovenia to Spain. When you leave behind your family and a place you call home, time and time again, you begin to question where is your home and if you really have one. Home is where the heart is they say. Or is it where your people are? What if you’re divided between one place and another for ever?
The melancholy never truly goes away.
